FundedNext Futures rules (Rapid and Legacy)

In FundedNext Futures, the 25K Rapid challenge has a $1,500 target and a $1,000 maximum loss; the 50K, $3,000 and $2,000; the 100K, $5,000 and $2,500. Drawdown is computed on the highest recorded end-of-day balance, updated at the start of each day, and locks once it reaches the starting balance.

This page lists the Rapid and Legacy figures by account size, explains each one's lock point, and says what the official terms do not state.

Rapid and Legacy in numbers

FundedNext Futures publishes two challenges with the same drawdown mechanics and different targets. The values below are from the futures challenge terms on the verification date. The lock point is the range over which the floor rises: it starts at the starting balance minus the maximum loss and stops once it reaches the starting balance.

  • Rapid 25K: target $1,500, maximum loss $1,000, floor from 24,000 until it locks at 25,000.
  • Rapid 50K: target $3,000, maximum loss $2,000, floor from 48,000 until it locks at 50,000.
  • Rapid 100K: target $5,000, maximum loss $2,500, floor from 97,500 until it locks at 100,000.
  • Legacy 25K: target $1,250, maximum loss $1,000, floor from 24,000 until it locks at 25,000.
  • Legacy 50K: target $3,000, maximum loss $2,000, floor from 48,000 until it locks at 50,000.
  • Legacy 100K: target $6,000, maximum loss $3,000, floor from 97,000 until it locks at 100,000.
  • Drawdown calculation: on the highest recorded end-of-day balance, updated at the start of every trading day.
  • Daily loss limit, minimum days and profit split: not on the page consulted.
  • Consistency: the terms mention the rule, but the percentage is not on the page consulted.

Trailing at the close and the lock at the starting balance

FundedNext Futures' drawdown trails the closing balance: the floor rises when the account ends the day above its previous record and is updated at the start of the next day. Because the reference is the closed balance, an open position with floating profit during the day does not move the floor — that sets FundedNext apart from firms with intraday trailing.

The lock at the starting balance caps how far the floor can rise. On the Rapid 50K, the floor starts at 48,000 and rises to 50,000; from there it is fixed, and all further profit becomes headroom. In practice, the account is only trailing during the first $2,000 of closed profit.

Why Rapid and Legacy differ on the target and not on the floor

At the 25K and 50K sizes, both challenges have the same maximum loss and the same lock point; the difference is the target ($1,500 versus $1,250 on the 25K). At 100K, Legacy allows a larger maximum loss ($3,000 versus $2,500) in exchange for a larger target ($6,000 versus $5,000). The target-to-loss ratio is the measure that matters: on the Rapid 100K it is 2.0; on the Legacy 100K it is also 2.0 — but with more room to swing.

The daily loss limit is not on the page consulted. Until it is read from the source, TCC's catalog keeps that field blank instead of assuming a value from a blog.

How TCC tracks FundedNext Futures

In TCC, each FundedNext Futures challenge and size is a rule with a floor that trails the closing balance and locks at the starting balance. The dashboard shows the current floor in dollars, the distance to the lock and the real headroom after the lock — and the drawdown calculator reproduces the same calculation without login.

Changes to the terms enter as a new rule version, with source and date; open accounts keep being measured by the version that applied when they were opened.

Prop firm rules change without notice. If the firm's page says something different from this one, the firm wins — and the error can be reported to suporte@tradercommandcenter.com for correction with a new verification date.

FAQ

Is FundedNext Futures' drawdown intraday or end of day?

End of day: the terms say it is computed on the highest recorded end-of-day balance and updated at the start of every trading day. Floating profit during the day does not raise the floor.

Where does the floor lock?

At the account's starting balance. On the Rapid 50K, for example, the floor rises from 48,000 to 50,000 and then stays fixed, according to the terms consulted.

What is the difference between Rapid and Legacy?

At the 25K and 50K sizes only the target changes (Rapid 25K $1,500, Legacy 25K $1,250). At 100K, Legacy has a $6,000 target with a $3,000 maximum loss, versus $5,000 and $2,500 on Rapid.

Is there a daily loss limit?

The terms page consulted on 2026-09-12 does not state a daily limit for Rapid or Legacy. Check the FundedNext Futures help center before relying on a value.
