The5ers High Stakes rules

In The5ers High Stakes, the maximum loss is 10% of the initial balance, with a static floor that never rises, and the daily loss is 5% calculated on the higher of balance and equity at the previous day's close, resetting at 00:00 server time. The targets are 10% in the first phase and 5% in the second.

This page explains where each High Stakes limit is measured from, why the daily base changes every day, and what The5ers' official documentation says about days and profit split.

The limits in numbers

High Stakes is The5ers' two-phase program for forex and CFDs on MetaTrader 5. The values below are from the help center and the program page on the verification date.

  • Maximum loss: 10% of the initial balance, absolute (static) floor.
  • Daily loss: 5% of the higher of balance and equity at the previous day's close.
  • Daily limit reset: at 00:00 server time.
  • Profit target: 10% in the first phase and 5% in the second.
  • Minimum days: 3 profitable days in each phase.
  • Profit split: from 80%, rising to 100% under the growth plan.

Static on the total, moving on the daily

High Stakes combines two measuring modes that many people mix up. The total limit is static: on a 100,000 account the floor is 90,000 from the first day to the last, and all accumulated profit becomes headroom. The daily limit, on the other hand, is recalculated every night: the base is the higher of balance and equity at the previous day's close, and the allowed loss is 5% of that base.

The 'higher of balance and equity' detail matters when a position is open at the rollover. If the account closed the day with a 101,000 balance and 103,000 equity because of floating profit, the next day's base is 103,000 and the daily limit sits at 97,850. If the floating profit evaporates in the morning, the distance to the limit is already smaller than it looked.

Three profitable days, not three traded days

The High Stakes minimum-days requirement is about profitable days, not traded days. A day that closes flat or negative does not count, even with ten trades in it. That changes the plan: anyone trying to close the phase fast with a few big days still needs three separate sessions ending positive.

In TCC, the valid-days count for this firm uses the firm's criterion — a positive day — and the valid days calculator accepts that criterion as a parameter.

How TCC tracks High Stakes

The High Stakes entry in TCC uses a static total floor on the initial balance and a daily reference at the previous close based on max(balance, equity). The dashboard recomputes the daily limit in currency at every server rollover and shows total headroom without you having to remember which base applies to which limit.

Changes by the firm enter as a new rule version, with source and date; open accounts keep being measured by the version that applied when they were opened.

Prop firm rules change without notice. If the firm's page says something different from this one, the firm wins — and the error can be reported to suporte@tradercommandcenter.com for correction with a new verification date.

FAQ

Is the High Stakes drawdown trailing?

No. The maximum loss is 10% of the initial balance, with an absolute floor that does not rise with profit. Only the daily limit changes its base, and it does so every day.

Where is the 5% daily loss measured from?

From the higher of balance and equity at the previous day's close, resetting at 00:00 server time. An open position with floating profit at the rollover raises that base.

How many days are required in each phase?

Three profitable days in each phase, according to the program page consulted on 2026-09-12. Flat or negative days do not count.

What is the High Stakes profit split?

It starts at 80% and can reach 100% under the firm's growth plan, according to the program page. The steps and timing of that plan are in The5ers' rulebook.
